Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., through its 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund Ⅱ., has invested in CompStak, Inc., a provider of commercial real estate lease comps database .

The mainstream method of collecting lease comps of commercial real estate in the US market is still offline and inefficient, such as telephone exchanges between brokers, and there is a lack of transparency and accuracy in the information. To improve this issue, CompStak offers a lease comps database for commercial real estate with as many as 4 million lease comps being provided through a crowdsourced platform where brokers, etc. can share their own lease comps and view others for free. In the future, CompStak aims to further strengthen its services by expanding its analysis functions and service lineup.

Mitsui Fudosan decided to invest in CompStak because of its highly accurate lease comps and its unique position in the industry.
