We at Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (hereafter \u201cMitsui Fudosan\u201d) hereby announce our investment in tacoms Inc. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereafter \u201ctacoms\u201d). The investment has been made through our corporate venture capital fund 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant industry is seeing a growing need for ready-made meals due to macro-level changes such as the increase in dual-income households and single-person households. In this context, restaurants are faced with the challenge of managing both traditional in-store ordering operations and out-of-store ordering for delivery and takeout. tacoms\u2019s \u201cCamel,\u201d a centralized delivery order management service, enables restaurants to receive orders via all delivery and takeout service partners on a single tablet. This allows restaurants to reduce management costs and maximize sales without going through complicated operations to newly accept orders through an online food delivery service. In addition, Camel Order, a newly released product, enables restaurants to launch their own takeout\/delivery ordering website (mobile ordering) with no code. Through this funding, tacoms plans to hire talented engineers and business development members and develop new products to promote its multi-product strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitsui Fudosan\u2019s decision to invest in tacoms aligns with its management team\u2019s strategy and execution capabilities based on deep insight into the food and beverage industry, as well as its outstanding products that respond to market needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
