Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Mitsui Fudosan) has invested in COUNTERWORKS Inc. (COUNTERWORKS), a company that supports digitalization of commercial real estate through its 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund II (31VENTURES II).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
COUNTERWORKS is a startup with the mission of “digitizing all commercial real estate and creating a new infrastructure for commerce.” The company develops and provides “SHOPCOUNTER Enterprise,” an online leasing support SaaS for commercial properties, and “SHOPCOUNTER,” a support platform for opening pop-up stores. “SHOPCOUNTER Enterprise” has contributed to an increase in inquiries from tenants regarding store openings and a significant reduction in their management costs and is being introduced to several major commercial facilities. In addition, “SHOPCOUNTER” has grown to become one of the largest pop-up store opening support platforms in Japan, handling approximately 20,000 spaces and over 30,000 registered brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this fundraising, COUNTERWORKS will hire human resources to strengthen the development of “SHOPCOUNTER Enterprise”, further grow “SHOPCOUNTER”, and invest in the development of new services in the commercial real estate domain, aiming to become an indispensable infrastructure for stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
