(Yanekara), a developer of electric vehicle charging\/discharging systems, through its 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund II (31VENTURES II) as the co-lead investor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the introduction and promotion of renewable energy and electric vehicles (EVs) accelerate toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the current tight supply-demand situation for electricity has created a need for solutions to introduce renewable energy and EVs without placing a burden on the power grid.<br>Yanekara has developed &#8220;YaneBox,&#8221; a charging and discharging device that can charge multiple EVs with solar power by a single unit, &#8220;YaneCube,&#8221; a remotely controllable regular charging outlet, and &#8220;YanePort,&#8221; a cloud system that can control them all. Through the services, businesses and consumers can generate power and utilize EV storage resources to achieve energy independence, which will lead to stable power supply for the society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mitsui Fudosan has decided to invest in Yanekara based on its high-level understanding of customer issues, uniqueness of its hardware and cloud software solutions, and its vision and management team aiming to build an energy self-sufficient society.
